Nabil Bank And FINLIT Nepal Join Hands For Financial Literacy Awareness Programs
Nabil Bank will be conducting financial literacy awareness programs at 10 schools in Besisahar in partnership with FINLIT Nepal.
This partnership aims to spread financial literacy awareness among students of grade 7 to 10 at Besisahar, Lamjung. FINLIT Nepal has come up with a structured approach named “School Bank” which helps to gain knowledge on financial literacy and access to finance to the targeted students and youth. School Bank financial education model is designed to give the school children and their parents, a better understanding of the financial matters by teaching them principles of money management, savings and spending, financial planning and investments. School Bank course duration is of seven months.
Mr. Ramesh Prasad Lohani, Deputy General Manager of the bank stated “We are pleased to partner with FINLIT Nepal to contribute in this very noble cause through financial literacy awareness programs at Besisahar, Lamjung. This program will be very beneficial to the students and we look forward for more activities on spreading financial literacy awareness in the days to come”.

School Bank program will surely spread a positive message among the students during these seven months period. Students will have a noticeable impact regarding financial literacy upon completion of this program”.
